Bressler Adds Two New Principals in New York, New Jersey

Continued growth follows on heels of new Birmingham office

FLORHAM PARK, NJ, MARCH 3, 2014 -- Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce that attorneys Kenneth J. Cesta and Douglas K. Eisenstein have joined as Principals of the firm. Mr. Cesta will be resident in the firm’s Florham Park, NJ office while Mr. Eisenstein will practice in the New York City office.

Kenneth J. Cesta is a Principal of the firm's Commercial Litigation and Labor and Employment Law practice groups. An experienced litigator, Ken has successfully handled a wide-range of matters including employment claims on behalf of management alleging all forms of discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination, contract disputes, business torts, insurance coverage and professional liability.   He  has had the honor of being appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey in several matters to serve as a Special Ethics Master in complex disciplinary actions brought by the N.J. Office of Attorney Ethics, and served a four-year term on the District VB Ethics Committee where he was Vice Chair and Chair of the Committee in his final 2 years of service. 

Ken has presented seminars on a variety of topics including Managing Electronic Discovery Costs During Litigation; Cloud Computing And The Implications For E-Discovery; The Use of Electronic Evidence at Trial;  Loss Causation and Damages in Securities Fraud Actions; and Rules of Procedure in New Jersey Attorney Disciplinary Matters.   Prior to joining the Firm, Ken was a partner with Hoagland Longo Moran Dunst & Doukas, LLP where he was Chair of the Commercial Litigation Group, and prior to that, a Partner at Edwards Wildman LLP where he was a  member of the Firm’s Professional Responsibility Committee.

Douglas K. Eisenstein, a Principal of the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group, brings to the firm extensive litigation, trial and appellate experience. For almost 20 years, he has represented clients in a variety of matters with a focus on complex insurance coverage disputes involving first-party, third-party and specialized policies as well as reinsurance.  He has also advised insurers on policy drafting issues.

Doug also has significant experience in commercial matters and disputes including employment law, contracts, professional liability and trademark/copyright. He has represented clients in matters involving wage and hour collective actions under the FLSA, malpractice and errors and omissions claims, construction exposures,  environmental matters, toxic tort, and copyright and trademark infringement.  Doug has tried numerous commercial and insurance coverage matters to verdict in both state and federal courts throughout the country. Prior to joining the firm, Doug was in practice with Carroll McNulty & Kull LLC and before that was a partner at Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass.
