An alumna of the Bressler, Amery & Ross summer associate program, Heather Murphy joined the firm upon receiving her J.D. from University of Notre Dame Law School. She is an associate in the firm’s Securities Law practice group.

Heather is a member of Bressler's Senior and Vulnerable Investor Group. The lawyers in this group have a shared interest in providing counsel to corporate clients who confront issues affecting seniors.

At Notre Dame, Heather was a Mediator in the Mediation Clinic, mediating civil and domestic disputes for low-income clients. Heather was also the Symposium Editor for the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law, planning and hosting a Symposium entitled “Emancipating International Refugee Law” in Spring 2014. Also while in law school, Heather interned with the Kings County District Attorneys Office.

Prior to law school, Heather worked as a paralegal for two years at a New York law firm. Heather received her undergraduate degree from Boston University where she concentrated in Psychology and Business Administration.
